Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Office Engineer – Electrical to join our project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a major Tunnel Construction MEP Fit-Out Project. This role involves the technical management of electrical engineering aspects of the project, from design through to execution, ensuring all technical office activities align with project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and update electrical engineering plans and drawings in accordance with project specifications.

  • Coordinate the integration of electrical systems with other engineering disciplines, ensuring cohesive project execution.

  • Analyze and interpret electrical plans and specifications to provide technical support and guidance to the construction team.

  • Manage the submission and approval of all electrical documentation, including design modifications, calculations, and correspondence.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to optimize electrical designs and systems.

  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.

  • Assist in the resolution of any technical issues that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the electrical engineering field, with substantial exposure to construction projects.

  • Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools, such as AutoCAD Electrical, BIM, ETAP, or similar.

  • Saudi Arabia experience is Essential.

  • Candidates with short notice period or immediately available will be on priority for selection.

  • Strong understanding of international electrical standards and codes.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
